Don't just be "not racist" be anti-racist

“Not racist” is passive. It’s the bare minimum. It’s the equivalent of saying, “Hey, I didn’t set the house on fire.” Okay… but are you helping put the fire out?

Being anti-racist is active. It’s intentional. It means you’re willing to interrupt harm instead of silently watching it happen. It’s correcting misinformation, challenging biased comments (even the “small” ones), and choosing fairness when it’s easier to look away.

Anti-racism isn’t about perfection — it’s about participation. It’s about building a world where equity isn’t an afterthought.
